1. Do you Strategize?
No
A. Does your customer have a decarbonization plan with milestones? If so, please share your roadmap/plan.
Not answeredB. Have you or your customer completed Sustainability School? If so, please share the Sustainability School completion certificate
Not answered2. Do you Digitize?
Yes
A. Are you helping a customer deploy centralized utility data management and monitoring software for energy and carbon analysis and reporting?
For energy analysis and measurement: Scada. For operation: PMA.
B. With your help, is a customer metering major energy loads to uncover opportunities to reduce energy consumption and emissions?
It continuously monitors energy use, reports on it, and makes interventions or improvements depending on the results. We do not have accurate data on the analysis of the scale of emissions.
C. Are you helping a customer monitor energy efficiency and equipment performance to gain actionable insights?
With measurement and energy balance monitoring.
D. Are you enabling a customer to use power management and monitoring solutions to assess power quality and increase business resiliency and continuity?
We offer energy, management and monitoring systems from most major manufacturers, including Schneider Electric, as solutions for our customers (e.g (Aveva Plant Scada, Power Scada). Using monitoring and data collection systems minimise downtime, optimise operation and increase service life.
E. On behalf of a customer, have you deployed innovations to maximize the efficiency and digitalization of their operations?
Yes. The installation of state-of-the-art digital metering and process monitoring systems has contributed greatly to reducing our customers' energy consumption. For example, in the hotel industry, as well as in the service industry, Building Operation software systems have been used to programmatically optimise the uptime of equipment (cooling, heating, lighting), leading to significant cost savings. Significant results have been achieved in terms of increased lifetime (lighting) and reduced energy consumption.
F. Have you implemented asset upgrades and modernization programs for a customer to optimize and increase the longevity of their plant equipment and avoid emissions ?
For example, using remote monitoring, condition monitoring systems for high-current switchgear, their lifetime can be extended - so that a warranty extension can be achieved. By extending the equipment replacement cycle, we directly contribute to reducing emissions.
G. Have you embraced the digital integration of power and process for a customer as a way to minimize energy consumption while optimizing their process?
Certainly. For our customers, the efficiency and measurable benefits of the first remote metering and monitoring system provided at a discount were so convincing that they subsequently ordered a number of similar installations from our company also for other holdings.
3. Do you Decarbonize?
Yes
A. Are you enabling a customer to use automation and energy management systems to control their equipment and systems?
We offer almost all relevant systems from many major manufacturers such as Schneider Electric (BMS, PME, Powrer Scada, Aveva plant Scada, EcoStruxure). The efficiencies that can be achieved with these systems are, in our experience, close to the manufacturer's specifications.
B. With your help, has a customer implemented practices that have increased their energy efficiency?
C. Are you enabling a customer to use renewables (PPAs, EACs, or onsite generation) for at least a portion of their energy needs? What percentage of their electricity is covered by renewables?
On average, our clients involved in this topic cover at least 10%.
D. To minimize Scope 2 emissions, have you helped a customer source energy through offsite renewable energy power purchase agreements or Energy Attribute Certificates?
E. With your help, is a customer using electricity from onsite renewable energy generation to reduce Scope 2 emissions?
On average, our customers involved in this topic, produce 10-15% for themselves, occasionally 30%.
F. Have you implemented energy storage for a customer? Elaborate.
Operational safety increased by reducing the risk of outages, and by breaking down peak energy demands no power overshoots were observed.
G. Have you equipped a customer to aggregate distributed generation assets to maximize economic value and grid impact?
H. Are you helping a customer reduce carbon emissions by focusing on energy efficiency and decarbonization in their operations?
I. With your help, has a customer reduced their carbon footprint through modernization projects that focus on energy efficiency and decarbonization?
Not answeredJ. Have you helped a customer implement practices to increase energy efficiency in their operations?
Not answeredK. Have you helped a customer create a commitment program with their suppliers to reduce Scope 3 emissions?
Not answeredL. With your help, has a customer adopted a commitment program with their upstream suppliers and downstream distribution partners to track and reduce Scope 3 emissions?
M. Have you enabled a customer to use digital modeling to capture embodied carbon data from materials and equipment?
Not answeredN. Have you helped a customer incorporate electric vehicle charging infrastructure for fleets, employees, and/or customers into their operations?
Our company has installed the first high power (180kW) DC charger (EVD1S180TxB) manufactured by Schneider Electric in the country. This has drastically reduced charging times, resulting in increased vehicle mobility. During the changeover, there was also a noticeable reduction in the cost (Forint) per km for company vehicles when using other types of Evlink chargers. The use of electric vehicles has enabled on-site charging, which also has many benefits for our company (no commuting, no petrol card, we can go tot he location of failure immediately, etc.).
O. With your guidance, has a customer converted some of their fleet to electric vehicles?
Yes, by installing charging equipment. Approximately 25% of the fleet. 30% of parking spaces can accomodate EVs.
P. Have you enabled a customer to electrify some of their operations to reduce Scope 1 emissions and enable use of renewables to shrink their carbon footprint? What percentage of your customer's operations have been electrified?
Q. Have you advised a customer to purchase low-embodied carbon materials and equipment?
We offer products from companies that are committed to manufacturing low-carbon materials and equipment, such as Schneider Electric.
R. With your help, is a customer using condition-based maintenance to extend equipment life, delay the purchase of new equipment, and reduce the associated embodied carbon?
Relevant lifetime extensions can be achieved through such maintenance, which involves remote monitoring (Power Scada), visual inspection and multi-stage condition monitoring.
S. Based on your advice, is a customer purchasing carbon offsets to balance any residual Scope 1 and 3 emissions?
T. Are you helping a customer reduce water usage through improved operations and a focus on efficiency?
Not answeredU. Have you enabled a customer to monitor and adjust water usage based on water availability risks and forecasts?
Not answeredV. Have you helped a customer create optimization programs for clean-in-place operations, e.g., water and wastewater treatment and recovery programs, focused on efficiency?
Not answeredW. With your help, is a customer procuring circular materials and minimizing waste in their operations?
Not answeredX. Have you helped a customer develop a plan to move their fossil energy-based processes to electrification?
Yes. We can demonstrate the benefits of electrification to our customers by providing them with electric vehicle transition plans.
Y(i). Have you helped a customer deploy innovations or circularity business models? Please select all that apply:
- Deployed innovations to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions of your operations
- Deployed innovations to maximize electrification of your operations
- Deployed innovations to replace energy sources with renewables
- Deployed innovations to reduce water usage
Y(ii). What are the results of these innovations?
In all cases, apparent operating cost savings can be achieved, even in the short term. Factual data on long-term returns are not yet available, as the innovations listed do not yet provide sufficient data to make the appropriate calculations.
