1. NPCL has implemented Building Mangement System (Honeywell) in KP4 office to optimise the energy consumption in the building. VRF system-based HVAC system is also incorporated with BMS system for optimum use of energy guzzlers (HVAC). 2. SCADA (ETAP), OMS and DMS are implemented for effective and efficient operation of grid from state-of-the-art 24x7 control room.

We are planning phase to implement software to capture embodied carbon data from material and equipment's. Software implementation is expected to complete by March 2025.

NPCL has partnered with statiq to setup the EV charging station in greater noida housing society to promote faster adoption of Electric vehicle. As on Nov 23 more than 10 charging stations are already commissioned and operational.

NPCL has procured 4 number of Electric vehicle (2 four-wheeler and 2 no two-wheeler) and committed to purchase New vehicle as Electric vehicle only for business operations. 2. 10 % of total company owned vehicle already converted to EV . NPCL has committed to replace all conventional vehicle to EV by 2030

Approximately 99 % energy consumption in NPCL substation is from electricity 2. 10% of total energy consumption in NPCL substation is met by rooftop solar installed over substation and office building. 3. Approximately 30% of total electricity that we distribute in our licensed area is from Renewable energy.

NPCL has published the Sustainable procurement policy to promote the supply channel partner to align their processes as per best practices order to reduce the carbon footprint of product.

We have reduced 28% water consumption from FY 22-23 baseline. In NPCL Water is used as drinking or home usage, purpose only.

1.NPCL has installed two phytoremediation technique-based Sewage treatment plant in KP4 and KP1 office of capacity 30 KL and 20 KL respectively. We are using the recycled and treated water in flossing and irrigation for landscaping purpose. 2. 14 office building are equipped with Rain water harvesting system to collect the storm water and recharge the ground water.

1. 100% Recycling of Paper waste generated by business operation and repurposing it in form of various stationery item 2.100% recycling of electronic waste through MoEFCC approved vendor 3. 100% recycling of used transformer oil through MoEFCC approved Vendor 4. Collection and Recyling of plastic waste from office and community in which we operate by installing reverse vending machine at strategic location.

Green Building and Green Substation building which reduce 30-40% energy consumption compared to normal building. 2.Replacement of conventional company owned fleet by EV (so far 4 vehicle deployed on ground) 3. 400Kwp rooftop solar commissioned on substation and office building for RE generation 4. All office building and substation is equipped with water flow meter for their consumption monitoring. Two STP of rating 50KL is installed to recycle the grey water and usage of treated water in flush and irrigation. 5. Reverse Vending Machine is installed at 7 locations to collect and recycle the plastic waste.
