1. Do you Strategize?
No
A. Does your customer have a decarbonization plan with milestones? If so, please share your roadmap/plan.
Not answeredB. Have you or your customer completed Sustainability School? If so, please share the Sustainability School completion certificate
Not answered2. Do you Digitize?
Yes
A. Are you helping a customer deploy centralized utility data management and monitoring software for energy and carbon analysis and reporting?
Citect with Grafana visualization server
B. With your help, is a customer metering major energy loads to uncover opportunities to reduce energy consumption and emissions?
The monitoring is split into 2 sections, consumption vs production. For consumption, all switchgear/MCC incomer and drives are monitored with DPM; the production is chilled water, it will be monitored using Btu meter.
C. Are you helping a customer monitor energy efficiency and equipment performance to gain actionable insights?
From the DPMs and Btu meters, efficiency of individual chiller is monitored and logged, and therefore total plant efficiency will be calculated by using the meters reading.
D. Are you enabling a customer to use power management and monitoring solutions to assess power quality and increase business resiliency and continuity?
All collected data are stored in SQL, and with SQL reporting, customer can access to the summarized of the plant daily, monthly and annually performance.
E. On behalf of a customer, have you deployed innovations to maximize the efficiency and digitalization of their operations?
The chiller plant has adopted a chilled water storage system, the control system will optimize the chiller efficiency by automatically assigning the number of chillers to run while using the chilled water storage system to top up balance cooling power demand.
F. Have you implemented asset upgrades and modernization programs for a customer to optimize and increase the longevity of their plant equipment and avoid emissions ?
The existing system is Yokogawa DCS which was installed 20+ years ago, we had migrated the system to Schneider M580 and installed Schneider inverter to replace auto-trans starter to optimize the electrical power consumption.
G. Have you embraced the digital integration of power and process for a customer as a way to minimize energy consumption while optimizing their process?
The chilled water production process was optimized by using real-time data and forecast planning to reduce electrical demand as well as to optimize power consumption.
3. Do you Decarbonize?
Yes
A. Are you enabling a customer to use automation and energy management systems to control their equipment and systems?
The chiller plant was controlled by using M580 with Citect. The energy performance of the chiller can achieve 0.54kW/RT.
B. With your help, has a customer implemented practices that have increased their energy efficiency?
