Yes
A. Have you deployed centralized utility data management and monitoring software for energy and carbon analysis and reporting?
For energy analysis and measurement: Scada. For operation: PMA.
B. Are you using metering of major energy loads to uncover opportunities to reduce energy and emissions?
It continuously monitors energy use, reports on it, and makes interventions or improvements depending on the results.
C. Do you monitor energy efficiency and equipment performance and provide actionable insights?
With measurement and energy balance monitoring.
D. Are you using power management and monitoring to monitor power quality and increase business resiliency and continuity?
Not answeredE. Have you deployed innovations to maximize efficiency and digitalization of your operations?
F. Have you implemented asset upgrades and modernization programs to optimize and increase the longevity of your plant equipment and so, avoid emissions?
Not answeredG. Have you embraced the digital integration of power and process as a way to minimize energy consumption while optimizing your process?
Not answered3. Do you Decarbonize?
Yes
A. Do you use automation and energy management systems to control equipment and systems efficiently?
Not answeredB. Have you implemented practices that have increased your energy efficiency?
Not answeredC. Do you use renewables (PPAs, EACs, or onsite generation) for at least a portion of your energy needs?
Not answeredD. Do you source energy through renewable energy power purchase agreements (offsite) or Energy Attribute Certificates to minimize your scope 2 emissions?
Not answeredE. Do you use electricity from onsite renewable energy generation for reduced scope 2 emissions?
Not answeredF. Have you implemented energy storage for improved resiliency, and to minimize peak demand and the associated carbon emissions?
Not answeredG. Have you aggregated distributed generation assets to maximize economic value and grid impact?
Not answeredH. Have you seen carbon reduction through improved operations focused on energy efficiency and decarbonization?
Not answeredI. Have you seen carbon reduction through modernization projects focused on energy efficiency and decarbonization?
Not answeredJ. Have you implemented practices to increase your energy efficiency?
Not answeredK. Do you have a commitment program with your suppliers to reduce Scope 3 emissions?
Not answeredL. Do you have a commitment program with your upstream suppliers and downstream distribution to track and reduce Scope 3 emissions?
Not answeredM. Do you utilize digital modeling to capture embodied carbon data from materials and equipment?
N. Have you incorporated electric vehicle charging infrastructure into your operations for fleets, employees, and/or customers?
Our company has installed the first high power (180kW) DC charger (EVD1S180TxB) manufactured by Schneider Electric in the country. This has drastically reduced charging times, resulting in increased vehicle mobility. During the changeover, there was also a noticeable reduction in the cost (Forint) per km for company vehicles when using other types of Evlink chargers. The use of electric vehicles has enabled on-site charging, which also has many benefits for our company (no commuting, no petrol card, we can go tot he location of failure immediately, etc.).
O. Have you converted some of your fleet vehicles or available parking to electric vehicles or EV-ready?
Yes, by installing charging equipment. Approximately 25% of the fleet. 30% of parking spaces can accomodate EVs.
P. Have you electrified some of your operations to reduce your scope 1 emissions and enable use of renewables to shrink your carbon footprint?
Not answeredQ. Are you purchasing low embodied carbon materials and equipment?
We purchase products from manufacturing companies that are committed to producing low-carbon materials and equipment, such as Schneider Electric.
R. Are you using condition-based maintenance to extend your equipment life, delaying the purchase of new equipment and reducing the associated embodied carbon?
Yes, we use it. Relevant lifetime extensions can be achieved through such maintenance, which involves remote monitoring (Power Scada), visual inspection and multi-stage condition monitoring.
S. Do you purchase carbon offsets to balance any residual scope 1 and 3 emissions?
Not answeredT. Do you reduce water usage through improved operations focused on efficiency?
Not answeredU. Do you monitor and adjust water usage based on water availability risks forecasts?
Not answeredV. Do you have optimization programs for clean-in-place operations, water and wastewater treatment and recovery focused on efficiency?
Not answeredW. Are circular materials procured and waste minimized in your operations?
Not answeredX. Do you have a plan to move your fossil energy-based processes to electrification?
We prepare plans for the transition to electric vehicle use, which includes the benefits of electrification.
Y(i). Have you deployed innovations or circularity business models? Please select all that apply:
- Deployed innovations to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions of your operations
- Deployed innovations to maximize electrification of your operations
- Deployed innovations to replace energy sources with renewables
- Deployed innovations to reduce water usage
Y(ii). What are the results of these innovations?
In all cases, apparent operating cost savings can be achieved, even in the short term. Factual data on long-term returns are not yet available, as the innovations listed do not yet provide sufficient data to make the appropriate calculations.
