A. Are you helping a customer deploy centralized utility data management and monitoring software for energy and carbon analysis and reporting?
We worked with our client to develop and install a strategic solution across their building portfolio that delivers accurate and timely data across key meter points. This data will be extracted into a data management and monitoring solution and will help our client to make informed decisions with respect to their energy consumption, production and carbon emissions. Previously, energy data was missing and ad hoc which affected both reporting accuracy and optimal load management, potentially adding to higher than necessary energy consumption and emissions. We designed and installed a system to address this and make our client’s building portfolio data ready, providing accurate and timely data across multiple devices which can be accessed by anyone. This data has enabled the client to be able to collate information easily and often through extraction into their reporting systems, in order for them to take corrective actions that will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their energy solutions. The outcome of the building data provided will help our client to achieve their sustainability targets, improve their sustainability rating (as measured by NABERS) and support them to deliver their ESG reporting requirements.
B. With your help, is a customer metering major energy loads to uncover opportunities to reduce energy consumption and emissions?
Yes, we worked collaboratively with our client to replace current systems and install capability that meters their major energy loads across a portfolio of 5 commercial buildings. With this data, the client is able to make informed decisions at an aggregate level to optimise load and take advantage of opportunities to reduce energy consumption. This will help our client make strategic decisions to achieve their sustainability targets and reduce their carbon footprint.
C. Are you helping a customer monitor energy efficiency and equipment performance to gain actionable insights?
Yes, we are providing the data and the insights into a data management system and we are using that system to help the client drive efficiencies across their portfolio. We have designed the building automation and building services to ensure that all the information is ready for anyone to capture, aggregate and develop actionable insights. We are working with the client to help them with the performance of their equipment.
D. Are you enabling a customer to use power management and monitoring solutions to assess power quality and increase business resiliency and continuity?
E. On behalf of a customer, have you deployed innovations to maximize the efficiency and digitalization of their operations?
Yes, we have implemented optimisation on various building services (e.g. electrical and hydraulic metering and general HVAC services). This will help our client to optimise their energy usage across their building portfolio and to also help their clients who are tenants of the building, to optimise their energy consumption and running costs. This supports our client to both save money and gain access to better clients as they are all seeking access to 5 star rated buildings.
F. Have you implemented asset upgrades and modernization programs for a customer to optimize and increase the longevity of their plant equipment and avoid emissions ?
No, not yet but this is in planning and the system deployed will support this activity . Of particular interest are replacement of legacy Gas Fired systems with Electric Heat pumps
