REGIONAL/NATIONAL SHORTLISTING PHASE

8 Dec 2023 - Feb 2024

At the end of Phase I, a jury, composed of Schneider Electric employees, will select regional/national winners.

The selection criteria will include consideration of Schneider Electric integrated approach, Strategize, Digitize and Decarbonize: from strategy to execution.

The Decarbonize section will focus on the four key levers of decarbonization:

  • Electrification of operations to accelerate progress on our collective path to a net-zero world. A robust electrical infrastructure might include EVLink charging capabilities to maximize user satisfaction while optimizing CapEx and OpEx; reliable and resilient electrical distribution with SeT series MV/LV equipment; monitoring and protection with PacT series circuit breakers and PowerLogic relays and meters; integrated DC systems in a hybrid electrical network to better manage increased power consumption; and TransferPacT source-changeover devices for improved resiliency.

  • Reduction of energy use and carbon footprint through digitalization and smart operations. Natively connected equipment such as PrismaSeT Active and connectible PacT series and PowerLogic products gather data required for visualization and informed decision-making. Energy-efficient power distribution systems, including Galaxy series UPS, Altivar variable speed drives, and TeSys Island digital load management solutions improve end-to-end energy consumption. And EcoStruxure Power edge control software and/or advisory services can help optimize system operations and maintenance.

  • Replacement of resources with sustainable packaging, eco-friendly products, and materials and space optimization. Recycled cardboard and reusable containers used in Schneider Electric packaging keep excess waste off job sites and out of landfills. Green Premium products conform to rigorous environmental regulations, including full transparency on their environmental impact. And Okken/BlokSet busbars and Canalis Track busways optimize space and materials.

  • Engagement of supply and value chains to advance vendor and supplier decarbonization and circular business practices. Circular Certified Schneider Electric products reduce waste within product life cycles. And hardware-agnostic EcoStruxure software accelerates the digital transformation of power distribution while improving life cycle efficiency and sustainability.
